Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer who was from London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. The singer-songwriter signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after she was a model. She dropped her debut album, self-titled in the year 2017. The album climbed up to the third place on the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released, among them Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked to number 6 on the charts in the United States. Lipa has won Brit Awards for 2018 for two categories: British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act and British. In addition, her platinum album has been praised across multiple countries. Dua Lipa was born London on August 22 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Her parents are of Bosnian descent via the maternal grandparents of her. Also, her ancestors come from Peja, which is a Kosovo town of Peja. The Lipa's grandparents are historians. Gjin along with Rina are her twins. The father of Lipa, who was a musician and lead singer from the Kosovan group Oda has influenced her in a musical way.
