The family was raised to Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her a grant for her theatre classes at her school. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp turned her attention to the stage. She performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp's other theatre appearances include Abyssinia and Aida. Apart from her roles both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's written or co-written. Sharp is still performing and is currently working on an album of full length. Sharp loves exercising. She keeps herself fit through training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp resides with her spouse and two children in Los Angeles.
